Reading your score

Cut-offs move draw to draw and differ between targeted categories (healthcare, childcare, construction and other priorities) and general high-economic-impact draws, recent general draws have invited well above 130 while some targeted sector draws have gone lower. Hourly wage is the single largest factor at up to 55 points, which is why two candidates with identical resumes can sit 20 points apart.

A nomination through Express Entry BC adds 600 points to your federal CRS score, which is effectively a guaranteed invitation. If your SIRS estimate is close to recent cut-offs, small moves, a wage increase, a regional posting, a better language result, can change the outcome.

Estimates follow the BC PNP Skills Immigration Program Guide scoring grid and are for information only; registration requires a qualifying full-time B.C. job offer, and the BC PNP confirms official scores.
