Maintained status protects your job
Apply to extend before your current permit expires and you may keep working under the same conditions while IRCC decides. The application has to be complete and correctly submitted for maintained status to hold, an error can mean you're working without authorization without knowing it.
If you've already fallen out of status
Restoration is possible within 90 days of losing status, but you can't work while it processes. We move restoration files quickly and pair them with the right new permit application.
