Journey milestone 4 of 4
Canadian Citizenship
The last milestone of your Canada journey.
Who qualifies
Permanent residents who have been physically present in Canada for at least 1,095 days in the five years before applying, have filed taxes as required, and meet the language requirement (ages 18 to 54) can apply for a grant of citizenship. Some pre-PR time in Canada counts at half-days, capped at 365.
Common pitfalls
Miscounted travel days and incomplete travel histories are the most common reasons applications are returned or delayed. We rebuild your physical presence calculation from passport stamps, CBSA records and your own records before filing.
How we help
Full eligibility review, presence calculation, complete application package, and guidance through the test, interview and oath stages.
